Gene Gregory Utecht

Gene Gregory Utecht of Onalaska and formerly of La Crescent, MN, died at home on Monday, May 26, 2014. Gene was raised in a military family, born in Kentucky and raised in Fayetteville, NC. He spent several years in California building homes and finally settled down in Minnesota near his parents. He was a self-employed carpenter and was currently working for Norwin Industries in Galesville, WI. Gene is survived by his wife, Debbie Chaney Utecht of Onalaska; son, Brandon Miller Utecht of Massachusetts; sister, Joyce Johnson of Cailfornia; step-son, Joshua Pellowski of Onalaska and step-grandson, Harrison Pellowski of Onalaska. He was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Luana Hill Utecht. A private service will be held at Riverside Park at a later date.
