Mona M Erickson

Mona was born on December 2, 1917, in Viroqua to William and Sarah (Halverson) Gilman.

Mona married Harold Erickson and had two sons, Merle and David. She was a factory worker during World War II and later worked as a restaurant cook in various La Crosse eateries. A lover of music, Mona often entertained relatives and friends with her talent at the piano.

Survivors include her son Merle of Stoddard, 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, four sisters, her son David, and her grandson Patrick.

Visitation will be at 10:30 a.m. with services to begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 14 at the Benedictine Manor Chapel in La Crosse. A private burial at the Viroqua Cemetery will be at a future date.
