Alberta Mary Donnell

Alberta Mary Donnell, 93, of La Crosse, died on Friday, July 6th, 2012 at the Hillview Health Care Center. She was born in La Crosse on August 16, 1918 to Fredrick and Margaret (Lokken) Yehle. Alberta lived in La Crosse her entire life. She had worked as a clerk at Degen Berglund for 25 years.

She is survived by a son James Donnell of La Crosse, a daughter Margaret (Michael) Harrison of La Crosse, five grandchildren, Elizabeth (Frank) Wharton, Duane Urbick, Paul Donnell, William Donnell, all of La Crosse, and Christopher Petersen of Ft. Wayne, IN, and a great-granddaughter, Gwenevere Gomez of Onalaska. She was preceded in death by her parents, her eight brothers and sisters, and her husband James.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 10th, 2012 at 10:00 AM at St. James the Less Catholic Church. Rev. Robert A. Schaller will officiate. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until the time of services.
