Frank S Fairbanks

Frank Sumner Fairbanks, 101, passed away at Golden Living Care Center in Lacrescent, MN on February 26, 2012. He was born in a sod house in Emerson, ND.on August 10, 1910 to Darrel J. and Mabel M. (Eberhard) Fairbanks. Frank is survived by his daughter Diane (Mrs. Gary) Fischer, his son Thomas Fairbanks, and three granddaughters: Lori, Lisa, and Kari Fischer. He was preceded in death by his wife, Meta (Schnick) Fairbanks, his parents, and his brothers Adam and Sydney Fairbanks.

Frank farmed in 11 different decades as well as having many different side occupations. He was a musician, private pilot, painter, weed inspector, and a columnist for a local newspaper in his later years.
