Ashley Wren Kranau

Ashley Wren Kranau, born December 8, 1989, passed away on September 8, 2025, at the age of 35 due to an aneurysm.

Ashley was born to Jeff Kranau and Susan (Perryman) Kranau in Woodbury Heights, New Jersey. She grew up and graduated in & around Boynton Beach, Florida, moved to Colorado, and later to Wisconsin after her father passed away in 2018.

On September 11, 2025, an “Honor Walk” was provided by Gunderson Lutheran in La Crosse, WI, and attended by her mother, Susan, Aunt Patty, and grandfather Jimmie, along with others lined up in the hospital hallway. This ceremonial event took place as her body (still on life support) was transported by helicopter for the procurement of her donated organs, possibly saving up to five people’s lives. Cremation was to follow.

Ashley was preceded in death by her father, Jeff Kranau; her grandmothers, Arlys Kranau and Sonya Perryman; her aunt Jeanna Perryman, and her great-grandparents.

Ashley is survived by her mother, Susan Kranau; her grandfather, Jimmie Perryman; aunt Patricia Perryman all of Wisconsin; grandparents Arlo & Patricia Kranau, aunts Deborah Holden, Sally (& Don) Curry & uncle Todd (& Yvonne) Kranau all of Blue Hill, NE; aunt Julie (& Glenn) Willems of Viborg, SD; and numerous cousins, friends & other relatives in Wisconsin, Nebraska, Colorado, Arkansas, & Florida.
