Bruce M. Erickson

Bruce Michael Erickson, 64, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2026, at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse, WI.

Bruce was born on July 11, 1961, to Lloyd and Adeline Erickson (Kasten) of New Albin, Iowa. Bruce was 1 of 14 children and graduated from Lansing High School. Bruce was a skilled mechanic, laborer, and woodworker. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and wood splitting with his dad and brothers. Bruce loved working with his hands, making crafts, gardening, and was very dedicated to his rose bushes. Bruce took pride in refurbishing John Deere lawn tractors and making homemade Lefse with his family.

Bruce is survived by his wife Brenda (Irvine) Jambois of La Crescent, MN, and two dogs, Max and Adeline, his stepdaughter Amie Kox (Lien) and Nate Lien, his brothers Bob Kasten- Collette (Connor), Dan Erickson, and Steven (Nikki) Wiese Erickson, his sisters, Sandy (Pat) Boardman, Diane, Linda (Randy) Sevelin, Pam (Les) Davis, and Ashley. Many nieces, Candia Hills, Mandy Fredrickson, Valerie Pickers, Brittany Erickson, Fayth Kelle, Ave Lueck, and Lestlie Farrell, nephews, Michael Kasten, Brandon Davis, Blake Davis, Nathan Boardman.

Bruce is preceded in death by his grandparents, parents Lloyd and Adeline; brothers Randy, Richard, and Roger, his sister Anita, and his niece Erin Sevelin.

A private service will be held; any memorials are preferred to go to the Dialysis Foundation, the American Kidney Fund (AKF), and Emplify Health-Gundersen Hospital.
