Christopher Ackman, beloved husband, devoted father, cherished son, and loyal brother and friend, passed away on May 20, 2025, at the age of 29. Known for his radiant smile that could light up a room and his unforgettable bear hugs, Christopher will be remembered for the deep love he had for his family, his unwavering loyalty, and his generous heart.
Christopher was a proud and loving husband to Taylor and an incredible father to his son, Koalton—his pride and joy. He shared a special bond with his siblings, Bridgett and Dan, and held deep admiration for his brothers-in-law. He also adored his pets—Zara & Zelda the cats, and Luger the dog—who were always considered part of the family.
He shared a uniquely close relationship with his mom, built on unconditional love, deep trust, and a lifetime of laughter and support. Their bond was one of the most constant and comforting parts of his life, and he carried that connection with him in everything he did.
A true outdoorsman, Christopher found joy in fishing with Koalton and Dan, hunting with Nathan, and going on bike rides with his family. He took great pride in caring for his home and yard, especially when sharing those moments with Koalton by his side, learning and helping.
Christopher loved music and spending time with family. He expressed his love through thoughtful acts of service—always ready to lend a hand and put incredible care into the gifts he gave. His sarcastic sense of humor and spontaneous kitchen dance moves (often with the cats nearby) brought laughter and light to everyday moments.
A dedicated and proud worker, Christopher poured himself into everything he did. He found fulfillment in his work at ATI and held deep respect for his boss Brian and his coworkers. He had a passion for tattoos—so many he’d lost count—and enjoyed collecting unique items.
Christopher will be deeply missed and never forgotten. His legacy lives on in his son, Koalton Christopher Dean Ackman.
Christopher is survived by his loving wife, Taylor Ackman, and their son, Koalton Christopher Dean Ackman; his mother, Sue Ackman; his siblings, Bridgett (Eric) Sanford and Dan Ackman; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his uncle, Steve Ackman; cousin, Lindsay Ackman-Grayer; Grandpa Doug Ackman; Grandma Betty Ackman; and other beloved family members who welcomed him with open arms.
