(Dale) Scott Koblitz

Dale Scott Koblitz, 49, of La Crosse, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at his home. He was born on December 22, 1976, to Scott Koblitz and Katherine McLain. Though his given name was Dale, everyone knew him as Scott.

On September 1, 2001, Scott married Darcey Stevenson. They welcomed their daughter, Hayley, before later divorcing. On May 26, 2012, he married Amy Stingl. Together they welcomed their sons, Avery and Myles, and Scott also gained a bonus daughter, Mackenzie. Scott and Amy later divorced. In recent years, Scott shared his life with his girlfriend, Amanda Smith.

Above all, Scott loved being a dad, and the memories his children shared with him will be treasured forever. He was also a loving son and brother, and the memories he created with his family will be cherished for years to come.

Scott enjoyed motorcycles, camping, spending time outdoors, playing a good game of pool, and being with his friends. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

Scott spent his career working in the automotive collision repair field. It was more than a job to him; it was his passion. Whether he was working at Holmen Custom Collision or helping a friend in his own garage, Scott took pride in doing things the right way. He had incredible attention to detail and cared deeply about the quality of his work.

Scott is survived by his children, Hayley, Avery, and Myles Koblitz; his stepdaughter, Mackenzie Smaby; his father, Scott Koblitz (Mary); his mother, Katherine McLain; his brothers, Jessop Maas, Christopher Aarstad (Taylor), Anthony Aarstad (Tanya Henke), and Cameron Koblitz; his sister, Cassandra Koblitz (Jimmy); his stepbrother, Ryan Wiegel; his stepsister, Nicole Aarstad; his grandmothers, Gwen Hammond and Delores Koch; and his nephew, Oliver Aarstad.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Edward Koblitz, Gene Hammond, and Jerry McLain.

A private service for immediate family will be held at a later date.
