David A. Gregory II

David Gregory II passed away on January 21st, 2026, in La Crosse at the age of 57.

Dave was born on June 26, 1968, to parents David Sr. and Dian Hines Gregory. He attended St. Pius X school during his formative years and was a graduate of Central High School. Dave was a lifelong La Crosse resident and so cherished the many friends he met throughout his life. Wherever he went, anyone he met became an instant and lifelong friend!

He was an avid Packers fan and a proud stockholder of the team.... and we can't forget to mention his love of music starting from a young age- especially many of the 80's heavy metal rock bands and his all-time favorite KISS and the KISS Army members!

He is survived by his wife, Desiree Ehlert of Tucson, AZ, daughter Olyvia and her son Huzefah, son Devin of Tucson, his mother Dian of La Crosse, brother Daniel, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, David; uncle Dan Hines; Timothy, Steven, and Peter Gregory, all grandparents and other family members. 

For many years, Dave battled medical issues. They stole his joy, his future, and eventually his life. We will hold onto memories of the man whose spirit and tender heart brightened our lives.
