Debra L. Vogel

Debra "Debbie" Vogel (Hamburg), age 74, passed away on August 28, 2025, in Harlingen, Texas. She was born on April 23, 1951, in Reedsburg, Wisconsin, to Herb and Margaret Hamburg.

Debbie married Rick Vogel, and together they built a close family centered on faith, family, love, and the Green Bay Packers. She devoted her life to raising four rambunctious boys, later providing in-home daycare for many children, and also worked in clerical roles where her dedication and kindness touched those around her.

In retirement, Debbie and Rick moved to Harlingen, Texas, where they spent the past 17 years enjoying the sunshine, floating in the pool, and building cherished friendships in the Eastgate community.

Known for her warm smile, gentle humor, and unwavering kindness, Debbie touched the lives of many and will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, sister-in-law, cousin, and friend.

Debbie is preceded in death by her parents, Herb and Margaret. She is survived by her husband, Rick; her siblings Gary (Marge) Hamburg, Mark (Debbie) Hamburg, and Tami Hamburg; her children Rick Jr. (Peggy), Bill, Bob (Kris), and Tom; and her grandchildren Ben, Alex, Isabel, Sam, Donovan, Cole, Collen, Savanah, and Reed.

A Memorial Service is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 11:00 A.M., at Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services of La Crosse, with a visitation taking place from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. 

Debbie will be remembered not only for the love she gave but also for her larger-than-life personality that left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
