Delores G. Soller, age 89, passed away November 25, 2025 at Bethel Oaks in Viroqua, WI. She was born on September 15, 1936 in Middle Ridge, Wisconsin to the late Wenzel and Ida Kaiser.
Delores, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and a friend to all who knew her, passed away surrounded by the loved ones she spent her life giving to so freely.Born into a large and lively family, she was one of sixteen siblings—each of whom she loved fiercely and unconditionally. As a mother of five, she poured her heart into raising her children with patience, warmth, and an unwavering belief in becoming exactly who they were meant to be. Her family, especially her grandchildren, were the light of her life, and she embraced every moment spent with them. She was known everywhere for her beautiful smile—a smile people commented on so often, because it reflected the kindness, gentleness, and comfort she offered to anyone who needed it. She had a tender heart for her family, her friends, and every animal that crossed her path. She was the kind of person who was simply there—steady, dependable, and ready to help. Before her retirement, she cared deeply for the people she served as a Nursing Assistant, treating each person with dignity, compassion, and warmth. Earlier, during her years as a Food Service Supervisor at St. Francis Hospital, she shared her incredible talent for homemade meals, touching countless lives through the comfort and joy she brought to others. Cooking wasn’t just something she did—it was something she gave. Her meals became memories. She loved the simple joys of life: cooking, fishing, playing cards, going to the casino, rooting for the Packers and many hours of puzzling. She cherished spending time with her brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She loved laughing with her enormous family and surrounding herself with the pets she adored. She carried love into every space she entered, and in return, she was deeply loved by all who knew her.Her legacy lives on through her children, her grandchildren, her many brothers and sisters, and the countless hearts she touched with her kindness, humor, and grace. Though she leaves us with heavy hearts, she also leaves us with the gift of her example—a reminder to love deeply, smile often, and take care of one another. She will be missed beyond measure.
