In Loving Memory of Dorothy Ann Theilen
October 20, 1946 – February 14, 2026
With profound sadness and deep gratitude for a life beautifully lived, we announce the peaceful passing of Dorothy Ann Theilen, who went home on February 14, 2026, at the age of 79, surrounded by the comfort of her home and the love of her family.
Dorothy was the heart and glue of her family. For 60 devoted years, she shared a steadfast and loving marriage with her husband, Anthony John Theilen. Together they built a life grounded in faith, hard work, loyalty, and unconditional love. Their enduring partnership was a true testament to commitment and devotion.
A dedicated homemaker, Dorothy created a home that was warm, welcoming, and full of comfort. She not only lovingly raised her children but also stood faithfully beside her husband, helping him with his jobs whenever needed. She was strong, dependable, and selfless, always putting her family first.
Dorothy was quiet by nature, but when she had something to say, she said it. She was gentle yet firm, and if she had an opinion, she made sure you knew it. Her strength and honesty were part of what made her such a steady presence in the lives of those who loved her.
She found joy in simple pleasures. Dorothy loved doing crafts and took pride in the beautiful creations she made with her hands. Music filled her home and her heart — especially Christmas music, country songs, Christian hymns, the beloved voice of Dolly Parton, and Elvis Presley. Her faith was reflected in the music she cherished and the life she lived.
Dorothy will always be remembered for her cooking. Her potato salad was the best you could ever eat, and her famous ham gravy brought family running to the table. Holidays and gatherings were made special by her loving hands and the meals she prepared. Around her table, memories were made, laughter was shared, and family bonds were strengthened.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Anthony John Theilen; her daughter, Tammy Theilen (Brian Symonds); her son, Robert Theilen; her granddaughter, Tifiny Willis (Brandon Jones); her granddaughter, Mina Abler (Eric Abler); and her cherished great grandchildren, Cooper Heyer, Adrian Jones, Niomi Johnson, Anaulo Abler, and Jordynn Jones. She is also survived by her sister, Francis Mc Mann; her brother, Mike Espinosa; her sister, Toni Espinosa; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Dorothy’s greatest joy was her family. She poured her love into each child and grandchild, leaving behind a legacy of strength, faith, loyalty, and devotion. Though our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in knowing that her love will continue to hold us together, just as she always did.
She will be deeply missed, forever cherished, and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
