Douglas C. Schober Sr. passed away peacefully on May 15, 2026, his 91st birthday. Doug was born on May 15, 1935, the oldest son of Anna Schober.
On March 2, 1957, Doug married Sally J Curtis, and together they raised 3 children.
Doug is preceded in death by his wife, Sally (9/2016). He is survived by his children, son Doug Jr and wife Cheri, daughter Kerri, daughter Sara, and husband Tom. Doug is further survived by his brothers Tom Brake and Greg Brake (Joan), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Doug wanted the staff at Hillview Nursing Home to know how you all made him feel at home with the care you gave him. He asked that a special thank you go to Jennifer, NP, Goli, Christina, and Dr. Kyla Lee, M.D.
