Janet R. Beckwith

Janet Rochelle Beckwith, 87, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2026.

Janet was born in St. Louis, Missouri, to Donald and Anita Grube. She grew up in Alton, Illinois, and later moved to Maumee, Ohio. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a nursing degree. She worked as a nurse in Chicago, Illinois, and Madison, Wisconsin, where she met her husband of 50 years, John Beckwith. She spent most of the remainder of her life in La Crosse, Wisconsin, raising her family, volunteering for many organizations, sewing, gardening, and going on daily walks with friends.

She was preceded in death by John and her sister Charlotte. She is survived by her two children, Scott and Amy (Brian), and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will never forget the love that she brought into their lives.

Her kindness, support, and generosity will be dearly missed.
