John Roger Thomas

John Roger Thomas, age 96 years, of Onalaska, Wisconsin, passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2024. Beloved husband of Mary (Hether). Loving father of Sandra Fancher, Chris (Michelle) Thomas, and Jason (Jennifer) Thomas. John is further survived by 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and daughter-in-law Elizabeth “Libby” Thomas.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Peter Thomas, Grace Thomas (French), wife, Lily “Harriet” Thomas (Rodenberg), brother and sister-in-law George (Lorraine) Thomas, and son, Roger Thomas.

John loved working on the family farm with his father, making a living as a mechanic, camping with his family on the Mississippi and at Devil’s Lake State Park, going for bike rides, and spending time in his workshop. He will be dearly missed.
