Joshua M. Patros

Joshua Michael Patros, 48, of La Crosse, passed away on 1/23/2026.

Joshua was born on 10/26/1977 to Douglas and Colleen Patros in La Crosse, WI. After graduating from La Crosse Central High School in 1996, he went on to study Aviation at Gateway Tech.

His favorite activities were piloting, motorcycling, tinkering with bikes and cars, hiking with his brother, sister, and our dog Duke. Joshua also enjoyed biking, drawing, writing (authored two books), and sitting with family by the fire in our back yard. He was always making us laugh with his quick-witted jokes, and with a twinkle in his eye, he patiently waited for the next arm-wrestling challenger (sometimes letting us win). Above all, God was first in his life, and it shone through in all he did.

Joshua was predeceased by Lori (Dolores) Patros, Ron (Ronald) Patros, Peggy (Margarette) Patros, Tammy (Kjos) Zanter, Adam Zanter, Jeanette (Nettie) (Patros) Springer, Daniel (Dan) Patros, and great-grandparents. Joshua is survived by Douglas and Colleen Patros (mom and dad), his sister Nicole (Daniel Roberts), Brother Nathan (Nate) Patros, Cindy (Patros) Baeder, Eric Baeder, Ann Patros, John Springer, Greg Kjos, Chris Kjos, Todd Kjos, Sherri Kjos, Mark Kjos, Doug (Douggie) Kjos, Nieces and nephews: Zachery Patros, Avery Roberts, Naomi Lodoen, Kaylin Roberts, Rowan Patros, including his extended cousins, aunts, uncles and his favorite companion our dog, Copper.
