Julie Ann Kjos

Mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. Julie passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her and warmly welcomed by those who passed before her. Julie is preceded in death by parents, Richard and Barbara (McConnell) Kjos. Sister Kathy and brother Eric Kjos.

Julie is survived by her brothers, Randy Kjos, Rick (Jane) Kjos, and Matthew Kjos. Daughter Colleen Kjos (Matthew). Son Cory (Elizabeth) Kjos. Granddaughter Aidyn Kjos. Grandson Briar Kjos (Hailey), andGreat Grandson Arkyn Kjos.

Julie spent years as a baker at The Peoples Food Co-op but her passion was music. She was an accomplished blues singer in the band “The Howlin’ Wilson’s in the late 80’s and 90’s.

Memorial services will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, October 24, 2026 at Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services of La Crosse. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
