Julie Marie Seitz

Julie Marie Seitz, 68, of La Crosse, passed away on September 18, 2026, at Mulder Health Care Facility.

Born on July 24, 1958, in La Crosse, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of Richard and Deann Perner. Julie worked for several years as a certified nursing assistant at Hillview Health Care and deeply enjoyed caring for the residents there. In 2005, she married Michael Seitz after sharing more than twelve years together. They spent the remainder of their lives traveling and enjoying one another’s company.

Her life was filled with simple joys that brought her immense happiness. Julie had a flair for crafts, often spending time with needlework, creating pieces that were as beautiful and intricate as her spirit. Her beloved dogs, Honey in childhood and Princess and Molly later in life, were her constant companions, bringing her endless joy and comfort.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard; her sister, Lisa; and her husband, Michael.

Julie is survived by her mother, Deann; her brother Richard (Monica); her sisters Teresa and Kathy; her children Kim (Jim), Jennie, and Adam; her step children Danyel and Angela (Ben); her grandchildren Aryan (Katrina), Jamie, Kailyn, Jade, Zaidyn, Brianna, Abbi, Avery, Wyatt and Hayden; and several nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.

The family is deeply grateful to the staff at Mulder Health Care Facility and Agrace Hospice for their compassionate care and support. Their kindness will be remembered fondly.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Schumacher-Kish Funeral & Cremation Services in La Crosse from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to your local dementia or Alzheimer’s charity.

Her love, strength, and legacy will be cherished forever.
