Linda Marie Bablitch

Linda Marie Bablitch, 74, of Onalaska, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. She was born on December 19, 1951, in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, to Wayne and Mary Ann (Zoromski) Brown.

Linda married Bob Bablitch at St. Stephen’s Church in Stevens Point, with Rev. Michael Bablitch officiating. Together, they shared 56 wonderful years of marriage, building a life filled with love, family, challenges, and countless cherished memories.

After obtaining her paralegal degree, Linda began a career with La Crosse County, where she dedicated 20 years of service. During that time, she was part of La Crosse County’s first Justice Sanctions Program. Linda also helped co-found Gundersen Clinic’s Parents Affected by Childhood Cancer support group, reflecting her compassion and dedication to helping families facing difficult circumstances.

Bob and Linda navigated life’s many challenges together while raising a wonderful family and creating a lifetime of memories. Linda was a loving mother, devoted wife, and true partner. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, radiant blonde hair, and the warmth she brought to those around her. She was deeply loved and will be missed more than words can express.

Linda is survived by her loving husband, Bob; her children, Kelly (Mike) Mohamed and Casey (Vanessa) Bablitch; her sister, Susie (Randy) Sadogierski; and a special niece and dear friend, Autumn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and MaryAnn Brown; her brother, Larry Brown; and his wife, Sharon.

Linda’s family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Metz, Dr. Veglahn, and care coordinator Deb at Emplify for their kindness, compassion, and care.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
