Lori Ann Lemke, 58, of Holmen, WI, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family and friends, on Wednesday, July 29, 2025, following a battle with cancer.
Lori was born on September 9, 1966, in La Crosse, WI, to Stephen Morehouse and Ellyn Lee (Reget). She moved around a lot growing up, while only attending school in the Holmen area.
Lori united in marriage with her true love, Randy Lemke, on January 14, 1984, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Together, they raised two children, David and Shawn Lemke, who later blessed them with two grandchildren, Alonna and Dayton Lemke.
A woman of many passions, Lori loved to spend time outdoors, her green thumb allowing her to cultivate flourishing gardens that mirrored her vibrant personality. Whether she was camping under the stars or basking in the sun with family and friends, Lori cherished every moment of nature's beauty. Her ability to connect with the earth was matched only by her profound love for her family.
Lori was surrounded by her dearest friends and family as she courageously battled cancer. She personified strength, grace, and resilience throughout her journey, inspiring those around her with her unwavering spirit.
Lori leaves behind a devoted family, including her beloved spouse, Randy Lemke, and her two devoted sons, David Lemke and Shawn Lemke. She found immense joy in her role as a grandmother, leaving behind fond memories for Alonna and Dayton Lemke to cherish forever. Lori is further survived by her loving siblings: Deb De Fliger, Kim Ortolano, Steve Morehouse, and Scott Lee, who will forever carry her spirit with them.
A Celebration of Life will be held in honor of Lori on September 7, 2025, at the Halfway Creek Shelter in Holmen, Wisconsin (upper side of Holmen Park), at 1:00 PM. All who knew and loved her are invited to come together, celebrating the beautiful legacy she leaves behind.
May Lori be remembered not only for the battles she fought but for the laughter she shared, the love she spread, and the indelible mark she left on the hearts of everyone who knew her.
