Lu L. Miller Osborn

Lu Miller Osborn, 96, of La Crosse, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2026 at Hillview Health Care Center in La Crosse. She was born on February 1, 1929 to Oscar and Mollie (Kapanke) Miller. She married Arthur M. Osborn on April 13, 1974. They spent their married life in La Crescent, MN and La Crosse, WI. An active member of Mt. Calvary Ev. Lutheran Church for many years, Lu had a servant heart and especially enjoyed volunteering at the Good Steward Resale Store. She worked at Erickson Bakery from 1964 until her retirement.

Lu and Art traveled extensively on tours led by Pastor Bartling with Egypt being one of their most memorable. They also enjoyed trips to Florida and Colorado to spend time with Art’s siblings.

Lu is survived by her stepson Clark (Julie), five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She is also survived by beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Art, her stepchildren, Amy and Arthur, her parents Mollie and Oscar Miller, her sister, June (Les) Ring, and her brother Oscar (Elaine) Miller.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Calvary Ev. Lutheran Church, La Crosse. Pastor Robert Wassermann will officiate. Visitation will take place one hour before the service and a meal will be served immediately following the service. Burial will take place at a later date in the Prospect Hill Cemetery, La Crescent, MN.
