Maggie Grace Servent, age 25, of Onalaska, WI, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at home with her husband by her side. She was born January 19, 2000 in Rhinelander, WI, the daughter of Jeffrey and Karen Servent.
Maggie graduated as valedictorian from Three Lakes High School, Class of 2018, then went on to UW-La Crosse, graduating with honors with a Bachelor’s degree in biochemistry.
After graduation, Maggie worked in Supplier Quality at Select Custom Solutions before having to leave the work force to focus on her health.
Maggie especially loved trout fishing, specifically with a fly rod, catching fish not only in the driftless area of Wisconsin but also Utah, Colorado and Alaska. She was also passionate about health and fitness. Maggie was a Crossfit Level 1 & 2 coach and loved being a part of others’ fitness journeys. She enjoyed weekend workouts followed by chai tea lattes, game nights, Survivor, dog walks, pickleball, catching blue gills and hiking. Above all, Maggie was a loving and caring friend who prioritized time spent being active in the outdoors with the people she loved.
In late 2023, Maggie was diagnosed with a grade 4 astrocytoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. Over the next two years she underwent surgery and multiple rounds of radiation and chemotherapy, keeping a positive outlook throughout. As soon as the surgical restrictions were lifted, she returned to the gym to rebuild her strength and resumed her role as “Coach Mags”. She traveled to Alaska, where she saw whales and sea otters (her favorite animal) for the first time. She also traveled to New Mexico to see the hot air balloon festival and spend time with her aunt Kim. She battled admirably, with a quiet ferocity, and always always always with a smile. Maggie was the epitome of both strength and grace and was loved by all who knew her.
Maggie is survived by her husband, Jesse Wiley; parents, Jeffrey and Karen; grandmother, Doris; siblings, Britt, Jenny and Chandler; step mother, Lesa; step sisters, Laci and Kristi; aunt, Kim; nieces and nephews, Judah, Aleutian, Ali, Landon, Athena, Gwen, Colt, and Isabella.
