Marilyn J. Sciborski

Marilyn J. Sciborski, 88, of La Crosse, died on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at her home after a yearlong illness. She was born on July 11, 1938 in La Crosse to Floyd and Lorraine (Banasik) Sciborski. She was a member of Mary, Mother of the Church Parish and had worked at the Trane Company for over 50 years. Marilyn had spent her retirement sewing, knitting and taking care of her flowers and collecting cookbooks. She also enjoyed walking. Marilyn was a quiet and well-read woman and will be missed by co-workers and family.

She is survived by her brother, Robert (Elizabeth) Sciborski of La Crosse, a niece Ann Sciborski of Mt. Horeb, WI, a nephew Mark Sciborski of Bangor, favorite cousins, Mary Banasik of Milwaukee, Patty Watson of La Crosse and Cynthia (Dan) Ellenz of La Crosse.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Mary, Mother of the Church Parish. Rev. Brian D. Konopa will officiate. Entombment will be in the Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of services.
