Mary L. Klingelhofer

Mary Lynn Klingelhofer, 83 of La Crosse, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on April 24th with her family by her side.

Mary Lynn Klingelhofer was born July 13th, 1942, to Mary and Delos Doyle in La Crosse, Wisconsin. After graduating from Aquinas High School, Mary attended a tech school where she earned a degree in X-ray technology. Mary then went on to work briefly as an X-ray technician in Ft Atkinson as well as at Saint Francis Hospital. Mary then went on to work for the La Crosse School District in the cafeteria at Hintgen Elementary, where she loved her time spent with her co-workers and the children she worked with.

Mary married Paul Klingelhofer Jr. In 1966, they were married until his death in 2016. She is survived by their three children, Eric (Betsy), Jeff, and Laura Klingelhofer, and grandchildren, Samantha, Allison, Morgan, and Makenna Klingelhofer.

Mary enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and grandchildren. She also enjoyed her family's pets, her flower gardens, watching the Green Bay Packers, Lawrence Welk, and listening to Irish folk music.

Mary was predeceased by her husband, Paul Jr., her parents, Delos and Mary Doyle, her in-laws, Paul and Helen Klingelhofer, her brothers Ray (Kim) Doyle and Jim (Rosie) Doyle, and her sister Ruth (Vern) Grimslid. Mary is survived by her sisters Ann (Loras) Betz, Susan (Al) Peterson, Peggy (Al) Skalicky, and brothers Pat (Elaine) Doyle and Mike (Colette) Doyle.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 2nd, at Schumacher-Kish, 200 West Ave S, La Crosse, WI, beginning at 10:30, with a prayer service at 11:30.
