Michael Joseph Brandt

Michael Brandt passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 14, 2025 at the age of 51. He was known for having a servant’s heart—always preferring career paths that aligned with his desire to serve others. His favorite positions were assisting physically and cognitively challenged individuals. He loved these friends the most.

Michael was a genuine sports fan, with a particular love for the Green Bay Packers. In his free time, he enjoyed professional wrestling, music, and video games. He was also an avid reader and enjoyed collecting books—his favorite author was Stephen King. Throughout his life, Michael fondly remembered the trips he took as a youth to visit family at his grandparents house out in the country

Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Karen Brandt, and his grandparents. He is survived by his father, Dean Brandt; his brother, Jeff Brandt; and many extended family members. He will also be dearly missed by his best friend, Colin Finn.

Service Information

The memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at Cornerstone Church (130 5th Avenue North, La Crosse, WI 54603). Pastor Kael Clemmerson to officiate.

• Funeral Service: 2:15 p.m.
• Reception: Light refreshments will be served during and immediately following the service.
