Patricia A. Zumach

Patricia A. Zumach, 96, of La Crescent, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at the Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse. She was born in Brownsville, MN on May 17, 1928 to Andrew and Delores (Young) Richard. She was the eldest daughter of 21 children. She married LaVerne Zumach on February 7, 1948 and he preceded her in death in 1992.

Patricia is survived by her daughter Carolyn (Gary), her two grandsons, Michael (Carol) and John, her four great-grandchildren, Alexis, Austin, Olivia, and Isabella, four great-step grandchildren, and close friends, Jean Lensing, Maxine (Brian) Blair, and Fred and Carol Buehler.

In keeping with Patricia’s wishes, her funeral service will be private with attendance limited to family and close friends. Burial will take place in the Crucifixion Catholic Cemetery. Patricia’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.
