Ronald F. Marohl, 76, Genoa, WI, passed away on June 28, 2026. He was born on May 1, 1950, to Arthur and Iola Marohl.
Ron graduated from Central High School in 1968. He joined the U.S. Army in 1968 and was a Vietnam Veteran 1969-70.
Ron married Di Ann (Geary) on June 24, 1972, in La Crosse. They celebrated 54 years of adventures together. Ron started as a mechanic, then moved into management, and later retired from real estate. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, hunting, and life on his hobby farm. He was an Eagles Club Life Member and a member of Stoddard American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Di Ann; his son, Michael (Amy),; his grandchildren, Marissa, Mattingly, Maris, Miranda, Mason, Mitchell, and Megan Marohl, Mercedes (Garrett) Schilling; his brothers William (Sandra) Marohl of Viroqua, Clinton (Kimberly) Marohl of La Crosse, and his sister, Sandra (Vince) Steele of La Crosse; his brothers-in-law, Harvey (Deone) Geary Jr., Le Roy (Barbara) Geary of La Crosse; his sister-in-law, Linda (Richard) Salseg of Rosemont, MN; many nephews and nieces, including double-nephews, Gregory (Lindsey) Geary of La Crosse and Jeffrey (Katherine) Geary of Melrose, and beloved cousins.
Ron is preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Iola Marohl, his father and mother-in-law, Harvey and Lucille Geary, his grandchildren Mackenzie, Morgan, Murphy, and Max Marohl, and his brother-in-law, Harold Geary.
A Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 18th at Bethany Church, 3936 County Rd. B, La Crosse, WI, with a visitation from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., then a service at 1:00 p.m., with lunch to follow. Burial with military honors on Monday, June 20th at 11:00 a.m., at Mormon Coulee Memorial Park, La Crosse, WI.
