Stephen T. Carlisle

Stephen T. Carlisle “Scar” 71 of La Crosse, WI, and previously Minnesota, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2023, with his daughters by his side.

Steve graduated from Kellogg High School in 1969. He served as an MP in the Army National Guard for six years. In 1971 he married Karen K. Rippentrop and together they had two daughters. He worked in the food service industry and delivery services for over thirty years. He was skilled and passionate about home remodeling, renovation, gardening, landscaping, grilling, and creating recipes. He was a passionate audiophile and loved continually improving his supreme audio sound system and collection of music and movies, sharing with anyone who was willing to enjoy with him.

Preceded in death by his father, James and his sister Luanne. Survived by his two daughters Tiffany (Eric) Bell and Stefanie (Chris) Benner; 8 grandchildren: Dylan, Faith (Chuy), Dalton, Morgan, Robert, Kendall, Erma, and Ben; his mother Dorothy and brother James.
