Steven J. Helgeson, 66, of Onalaska, WI, passed away unexpectedly at his home from natural causes. He was born January 21, 1959, in Milwaukee, WI, to LeRoy and Elveda Helgeson. 

Steve is survived by his wife, Barbara; his daughter, Sara, and her husband, Michael; his son, Connor, and his wife, Karlie, and stepson, William. Additionally, he leaves behind his brother Kurt and his wife, Rhonda, their sons Jacob (Avrie) and their children, Hayes and Brooks, as well as Justin (Allison) and their children, Jeremiah and Oliver, and close family friend, Levon Maybee. Preceding Steve in death are his parents.

In accordance with Steve's wishes, a private family celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the La Crosse Jail Ministry or the Salvation Army.
