Susan M. Miller

Susan M. Miller (Sue), 77, of La Crescent, MN, passed away on July 5, 2026. Sue was born in La Crosse, WI, on February 6, 1949, to Martin and Beatrice (Weiland) Miller.

She was the oldest child out of 6. She never let her siblings forget that!

She went to Crucifixion Grade School through 8th grade. Then she stopped at Lincoln and Logan on her way to becoming a part of the 2nd graduating class of La Crescent High School. “The Class of ‘67.”

She went on to attend St. Cloud State University and earned a Bachelor of Education with a concentration in Mathematics. Her education did not stop there. She also received her Master’s of Education and her Doctorate of Education.

Sue is survived by her siblings: Kathy Peterson, Judy Storlie (Dewey Severson), and Jane Miller of La Crescent; John (Rose) Miller of Brownsville, MN, and Jean (Dave) Klinski of Caledonia, MN.

She is further survived by many nieces and nephews, along with a plethora of cousins.

A visitation for Sue will be held at Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home in La Crescent, MN, on July 9, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:00. A prayer service will be held at 3:00, with burial to follow.
