Terry L. Meyer

Terry Lee Meyer (63) of La Crescent, Minnesota passed away on May 5, 2025.

Terry was born on November 28, 1961, to Lester and Donna Meyer in Caledonia, Minnesota. After graduating from Kee High School, Lansing IA in 1980, he went on to study diesel mechanics at Hawkeye Institute of Technology in Waterloo, IA.

Terry had a 43 year career in the transportation industry. He ended his career at Ace Hardware, according to him it was the best job he ever had.

In 1981, Terry met Eileen, and they wed in 1982, going on to have two children, Laura and Sam.

In 1999, Terry joined the La Crescent Fire Department, and served the community with compassion, pride, and leadership. Terry also loved gardening, canning, playing cards, relaxing on his front porch, and spending time with his beloved family and friends.

Terry was predeceased by his mother, Donna Meyer and his brother Dennis Meyer. He is survived by his wife Eileen Meyer, children Laura Meyer (Willie Gloria) and Sam Meyer (Jayda Duprey), grandchildren Bodhi Meyer and Khoda Meyer, father Lester Meyer, sister Debra Schultz (William Schultz), and sister in-law Pauline Meyer. Along with a host of brother in-laws, sister in-laws, and nieces and nephews.
