Thomas James Kreibich

Husband, Son, Grandpa, Uncle, Brother, Father, and Foog were all names he was proud of. Thomas James Kreibich, age 61 of La Crescent, MN passed away Saturday, March 28th 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on August 3rd, 1964 to Clarence and Lucille Kreibich. The youngest of 8 Children (Kathy, Garry, Mark, Jane, Deb, Bill, and Paul). He grew up and graduated in La Crescent, MN playing many hours of baseball with his brothers and neighborhood boys. A few years after high school, he met Leslie Beach, the love of his life, in which they married and raised 3 beautiful children (Ashley, Dillan and Angel). He worked many years in roofing before finding his fit at UW-L.

Hunting, grilling, ice fishing, woodworking, and camping were some of his favorite past times. He was always trying to shoot the next big buck, or turn the perfect bowl. He loved to share a meal or have a beer around a fire with friends. He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone who asked.

Tom is survived by his wife Leslie and children Ashley (Rory) Linton, Dillan (Michelle) Kreibich, and Angel Kreibich. Grandchildren: Marissa Linton, and Phillip Linton. Siblings: Mark Kreibich, Deb (Jeff) Covey, Bill (Sandy) Kreibich, Paul (Gene) Roe/Kreibich. Mother: Lucille Kreibich.

Tom was preceded in death by his siblings Kathy (Kerry) Brinkman, Garry (Marilyn) Kreibich, Jane (Steve) Weisbrod. Father Clarence Kreibich.
