Thomas Howard Larson

Tom Larson, 81, passed away May 11th 2026 peacefully surrounded by family and friends.

Tom was born in 1945 to Howard and Genevieve Larson in La Crosse.

Tom spent his entire career working at United Auto Supply. He was a hardworking and dependable man who enjoyed the simple things in life and spending time with the people closest to him.

Tom was married to his wife, Judy Larson, for 53 years before her passing three years ago.

He is survived by his daughter, Leanne Haessly and her husband Tim, and his son, Ryan Larson and his wife Nicki. And three grandchildren Landon, Garrett, and Emily. Sister in law Connie Kerr (Tim), Lois Schams (husband Dennis), sister in law Mary Larson, niece's Tina Dahlstrom, Tammy Thompson (Dan), nephew Nick Schams (Emily), and Hula.

Tom loved snowmobiling with family, friends, and the Speedo Boys, a life long member of the The Coulee Snowdrifters and was a longtime fan of auto racing, both watching and attending races whenever he could. Summers were often spent at his camper at Lake Neshonoc Campground, where he enjoyed relaxing, visiting with friends, and spending time with family.

Tom will be remembered for his steady presence, his loyalty to friends and family, and the many memories made over the years. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He was predeceased in death by his loving wife Judy Larson, parents Howard and Genevieve Larson, daughter Amy, brother Doug Larson, Rodger and June Melbo (father and mother in law), niece Elizabeth Brown, nephew Nathan Schams, Marc Sugg (brother in law).
