Toni J. Low, age 92 of Onalaska, Wisconsin, passed away on July 11, 2025, at Riverside Transitional Care Center. A private family service will be held at Onalaska City Cemetery.
Tonya Jeannine Low was born on January 15, 1933, to Alf H. And Alta E. (Moen) Modahl in La Crosse Wisconsin. She graduated from Central High School in 1950. After high school she worked at Moen Photo and did some modeling for a local women’s clothing store.
On Jun 1, 1951, Toni married Jack L. Low. She was devoted to him throughout their 69 years of marriage. Toni found joy and fulfillment in her role as homemaker. She loved playing golf and was a member for many years at La Crosse Country Club and Cedar Creek. She was very proud of her hole-in-one on #14 at Cedar Creek.
Toni is survived by her children, Steven (Jody) Low, Susan (Jeffrey) Vorpahl; grandchildren, Michael (Chandra Dindral), Matthew (Marguerite) Low, Brian (Kaitlin) Vorpahl, Mark (Joan) Vorpahl; four great grandchildren and three nephews, Dave Low, Brad (Cheryl) Low and Tom (Mary) Low.
Toni was preceded in death by her husband Jack, parents Alf H. & Alta E. Modahl, brother Alf Carlton Modahl, brother-in-law Eugene Low, sisters in law Jan Low and Ann Modahl and two nieces Jane Low and Carla Low.
The family wishes to express heartfelt thanks to the staff at Eagle Crest North Memory Care and Riverside Transitional Care Center. They provided over six years of dedicated care and support to Toni and her family.
Memorials may be given to North Presbyterian Church or to a charity of your choice.
