Warren J. Hoff, age 76, of Onalaska, WI, passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2025 at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center. He was born February 20, 1949 in La Crosse to Gerald and Irene Hoff.
Warren graduated from Logan High School. While attending high school, he spent his free time as a member of the local rock and roll band Dynamics. His love of old time rock and roll never ended. After high school Warren enlisted in the Navy. He served in the Navy as a cook where he found his passion for cooking.
He married Karen Severson, the love of his life, on July 13, 1996 in La Crosse. Together they enjoyed traveling, casinos, watching the Packers, spending time with friends and especially family.
Warren worked as a photographer for Columbia Studios. His expertise was photographing students for their yearly school pictures. He had many hobbies but he especially enjoyed music, gardening, cooking, and deer hunting. Warren had a special sense of humor and was able to carry on a conversation with everyone.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Karen; daughters, Vicki (Paul) Nelson, Debbie (Steve) Schwantes, Diane Kendhammer, and Sue (Tim) Carlson; 7 grandsons; 4 granddaughters; and 5 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Duane (Judy) Hoff; sister Barbara (Larry) Saunders; and his nieces and nephews.
Preceding Warren in death are his parents; his sister, Marie Hoff; and son-in-law, Glen Kendhammer.
Visitation will be held Thursday, September 11, 2025 from 9:00-11:00AM, at Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home in La Crosse. Funeral service will be held at 11:00AM at the funeral home with burial following at Oak Grove Cemetery.
